Wharton Africa Investment Partners (WAIP) is a student-led initiative designed to support inclusive economic growth on the African continent by helping to increase investment into small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the potential to drive positive social and economic impact. WAIP supports investment in Africa by providing advisory, market research and due diligence capabilities to Africa-focused private equity/venture capital funds, SMEs, and entrepreneurs.

Formerly known as Wharton Africa Growth Partners (WAG), we have worked on projects throughout Africa and covered sectors such as healthcare, fintech and agriculture and partnered with private equity and venture capital funds, small and medium-sized enterprises, and government agencies.

A number of WASA members are part of WAIP. Please let us know if you’d like us to connect you with a current student in WAIP.
